Activities: Scheduled activities are conducted within the adult family home. Typical activities are:

Game and activities can bring residents together in groups and enhance a sense of belonging and participation. Also, games can help improve memory, dexterity, reduce stress and remove a sense of isolation. Winning prizes is exciting and can quickly become the highlight of the day

1:1 or small group activities: All throughout the day, the caregivers engage in 1:1 activities with residents, such as folding laundry, residents assisting in the kitchen with simple tasks, taking walks outdoors, arranging flowers, coloring art pages, listening to music together, playing cards, or just visiting with each other. The homes physical layout promotes interactions and conversations.
